Cricket NSW reveal $50 million world-class cricket centre

Waypoint are proud to be working with Cricket NSW on their $50 million Centre of Excellence based in Silverwater western Sydney. Seven News recently reported on the project showcasing many community benefits for cricketers from grass roots through to elite players. The centre will boast 47 outdoor nets, 15 indoor nets, 2 ovals, a strength and conditioning centre, recovery centre and administration quarters.

Grassroots cricket participation in NSW has spiked up to 500,000 players, with female participation making up one-third. The centre is expected to cater to 35,000 players every year and employ up to 180 people.
