Waypoint assists Tennis Australia with regional partner venues infrastructure plan

Waypoint Pty Ltd are pleased to have been engaged to assist Tennis Australia in developing and implementing its “Regional Partner Venues” infrastructure plan, which aims to redevelop approximately 75 tennis venues over the next five years.

The plan will see regional tennis venues redeveloped into significant community assets which not only meet the future needs of the local tennis clubs, but also create “hubs” for broader community partnerships that deliver health, wellness and leisure benefits.

A key aspect of Waypoint’s role will be to identify how the plan can be funded in partnership with all levels of government and the private sector, and to lead the negotiation process that will enable the first round of priority projects to be implemented over the next 1-2 years.

Waypoint’s Managing Director Chris Dare commented that “we are excited to be able to work with a sport that is part of our national sporting and cultural heritage, and assist in creating the funding partnerships that will lead to the roll-out of Tennis Australia’s visionary national plan”.
